This made my day

I had what you would consider a bad week.

When I say bad week, I mean having to wait for almost an hour to get on the bus in a wet and cold Winter morning to get to a day job where I'm starting to think that my efforts are not being appreciated; having to turn up to class without my homework because I spent most of my day in a day job and didn't have time to finish my homework; having to spend less time making pictures when I wanted to do more because I have chores to do, pets to care for and a business to work on.

Anyways, that aside.

I was contacted by the owner of Modern Cat for an interview after she saw my comments and followed the link to my flickr site. In the interview on pet photography, I briefly talked about how long I have been making images of pets, what I shoot with, how I go about making those images, what I think one can make a great photo.

At times I felt like giving up my photography passion when I have a bad week. Not because I don't have the state-of-the-art equipment or the latest tools but because I have set myself a goal to achieve and I do work very hard — and time is scarce for me having to juggle 4 pets, 1 boyfriend, 1 day job and a passion for animals, especially the abandoned ones that I wanted to help so badly.

I felt as if I have been given a 100 brownie points — someone did like my work even though it's not my day job!

Does it mean Mr Big and PF are going to be famous now?

Triumph

I am curious about the chair, whether it attracts critters or it's just pure chance.

Apparently, a certain guinea pig also took a liking to the chair.

The chair

PF is often spotted on the chair — he seems to have 'upgraded' from his pink beanbag.

Both cats got an extra fleece blanket each, for this Winter. PF has his on his chair.

But a certain other cat is now interested in that chair. This time, Mr Big had his chance.

I'm not sure if the chair, or Mr Big or PF is responsible for the complex situation.

It is a complicated threesome relationship.

Organic toys

These are cute, and seems safe for pets! Pity they don't distribute to Australia — not yet.

Stephen, my assistant and I had the privilege of meeting another lot of brave and courageous dogs who need a home.

He can look intelligent too

I caught Mr Big sitting quietly by himself one afternoon. So I made this image of him in black and white.

He too, can look intelligent — only when he wants to.

I sometimes wonder whether Mr Big shares the same interests as Ginger.

Then again, Mr Big's personality is quite similar to Wiggley's in the sense they share similar interests and have only one thing in mind — food.  Nothing can stop these two from reaching their goal, ie more food; endless eating. 

Wiggley has an excuse since he's a guinea pig, well, not quite the same as a pig but close enough. But Mr Big... 

Hence his name. It's not because of S'nTC, but more so because of the fact that he eats non-stop and he has a profound fondness for food; almost as if he's addicted to it. He's one cat that lives to eat.

So it is probably one chance in ten that you will find Mr Big sporting an intelligent look.

We're putting him on a diet.

My other boy

He's a bit bored lately having to stay indoors all the time. I'm starting to get tired of this wet and cold Winter weather.
